What to do???

OK.....so as you can see, my last post was in March and that was for a January event.   It is now July and I am so far behind on my blog.   Part of me wants to quit.   I do so much on Facebook now and post so many of our family events on there.   Is it worth it to have a blog too???   Do I also share our family's exciting events on there?   Part of me feels like "YES".....I need to continue on.   But do I backtrack and post umpteen pictures of all our our Spring events?   Seems daunting.  Seems overwhelming........and everything in my flesh says "NO".....but then my anal retentive side says, "Yes, you have to keep things in order!"   You must.     So, what will it be???

Disney World 2011

We had an awesome time as we headed to Disney World for a week in January.   We were so blessed to have our dear friends from Texas -- James & Amy Wiebe, and daughters, Ellie and Emma -- join us for this trip.  We stayed on property, at Old Key West, in a three bedroom grand villa.   Over 2200 square feet for us to stretch out and enjoy ourselves....which was a good thing considering we had 10 people staying there, 6 all under the age of 9.  That just tires me out typing it.  We had absolutely beautiful weather and had a wonderful week.  We stayed quite busy and got worn out, but it was so worth it.  Reese struggled the most with lack of sleep.  We hit every park and made it to Epcot and Magic Kingdom twice.  LOVE MAGIC KINGDOM!   Just does not feel like you are really at Disney World until you experience the magic and awesomeness of Magic Kingdom.  We ate LOTS of good food and met many cool characters.   The 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian hotel is one of the best character meals.   Cinderella's step-mother and step-sisters make that a memorable time.   And Prince Charming is so cute to see too!   And since there were ten of us, we qualified for a Magical Gathering Experience.  To celebrate my upcoming 40th birthday, we celebrated this gathering at Tony's Town Square for a Magical Gathering Character breakfast at the Magic Kingdom.   It was quite rushed, but all the main characters were there---Daddy & Reese got to dance with Minnie Mouse and Tony & all the gang sang and did the Hokey Pokey.    Quite a fun time!     We loved our time there and this trip was especially good b/c we shared it with our good friends!

 One of the best rides ever.....but you have to get a fast pass as soon as you get to the park or you'll stand in line for a loooooong time!

OK....so Reese LOVED all the characters....always touching them and wanting to hug them....just precious!

And to top off our long vacation......Reese sleeping on the floor of the bus on our way back to the airport.  This was after she threw a screaming fit for 20 minutes and finally collapsed.......gross, I know, but so glad she finally got quiet.  As did everyone else on the bus......

CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN!!!   Hopefully in 2012!
