The Start of School.....

And another year starts......    Why is it always so hard?   A good friend of mine helped me see that the start of a new school year is more of a milestone emotionally speaking, than a birthday.   Yes, Reagan turned 9 this year, but now she is in 4th grade.  Last year of elementary school!  Yes, Ryan turned 7, but now he is in 1st grade.  Yes, Riley will be 5 in a few months, but she just started her last year of preschool and will head off to real school next year--Kindergarten.   So you see, when the school year rolls around, that affects me more than their birthdays.   It marks the beginning of a big change in our family.  So here are my three oldest, on their first day of the new school year.......

Indiana State Fair

What a great time we had at the Indiana State Fair.....but WAS IT HOT!   103 degrees that day.   Made me realize that I maybe didn't want to move back to Texas b/c that is what almost everyday in the summer would be like.....sorry James & Amy....guess you need to move here by us!  Also, when it is so hot, you forget that b/c you are so HOT you don't want to eat any of the yummy delicious fair food.    Between all of us, we ate a corn dog, ice cream, funnel cake, and 3 gallons of fresh- squeezed lemon aid!  Below are some cute pictures of our day.  Reese LOVED all the animals.......
