Fire Station Field Trip -- Ryan

Ryan and his preschool class went to the fire station for a field trip. Isn't this every little boy's dream? He loved it! He got to see where the firefighters sleep, eat, and watch TV. He got to see one guy slide down the fire pole. "Awesome!" was the word Ryan used! he and Riley got to walk through a real fire truck and then sit in the driver's seat. It was such a cool day. Even Riley kept saying how much fun it was. Again this was a moment where I just stop and thank God for little blessings, like seeing the world though my child's eye. I just need to stop and enjoy these moments......

Ballet Recital

Reagan took Beginning Ballet at the YMCA for the past four months. On Sunday evening, all the dance classes got together at the Madame Walker Theater in downtown Indianapolis to put on a Dance Recital. It was very nice and Reagan did a fantastic job. Grammie, Paul's mom, and Mama Eva, Paul's grandmother came into town to see it. For one night, Reagan got to look, feel, and dance like a princess. It was beautiful. It is truly amazing how God can show us beauty in so many ways, especially dance. I wanted to take some shots of her outside in our backyard, but it was a little chilly...

Afterwards at home, with her trophy. (Yes! A trophy! Can you believe that?!?!?! Kids get trophies for everything nowadays! What happened to the olden days when you had to actually WIN something????)

Reagan with her proud brother and sister, who didn't see the long show. They got to play at the Beaverson's house (our neighbor) instead and had a much better time.

Jog-A-Thon

The biggest fundraiser of the year for the PTF at Heritage Christian School is Jog-A-Thon. We just completed it last week and had a great time. The weather was nice enough for us to have it outside on the track this year. The kids could walk, jog, or run for 30 minutes. I was very proud of my cool daughter. Reagan had 3 sponsors besides Mommy and Daddy. Here are some highlights!
Looking too cool

Her class before the run...

Afterwards.....they all made it!

Look at her go!!

Ahhhhh....the sweet reward for all her hard work!

An Aggie Family

I finally got everyone together....with no colds, no bruises, no scratches, no black eyes, etc...and we were able to get a family picture taken. For all you non-Aggies, I know you will think it is a cheesy picture. But my Aggie friends understand. Texas A&M always runs through your blood after you graduate!

Spring Break -- Fun Times at Great Wolf Lodge

As everyone around here heads off to Florida for Spring Break, we just stayed home and had a relaxing week off from school. We did surprise the kids with an overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge in northern Cincinnati this past weekend. The kids had a blast...well, Riley really didn't like it until the next afternoon after she got used to everything. In case you don't know what it is, Great Wolf Lodge is an awesome, wolf-themed resort with a huge indoor water park. We got to use the water park all afternoon on Friday and then as long as we wanted on Saturday too. We could only last until 2:15pm. We were all "pooped out"! I spent much of my time with Riley just hanging out near the wave pool and playing in the water spouts. Paul took Reagan and Ryan on all sorts of slides and they loved every minute of it!! Ryan is definitely our adventurerous one.......he isn't scared of anything. The more dangerous it looks, the better! Below are some highlights of the trip. Yes, I know there are lots of pictures, but some are just so cute,I couldn't resist!

The huge brick fireplace in the lobby

The story or show that happens 3 times a day.....

The kids little "wolf den" with bunk beds

Everyone would stop and watch little Ryan to see if he would make it. And he did everytime! People don't realize when you don't weigh anything, the pads don't move!

This is Riley as she starts to hoard all the innertubes.

Uh Oh.....here come the waves!

More waves!
